The sixth edition of the National Music Awards is set to take place on June 14, marking a significant event in Nepal's music scene. Organized by Radio Kantipur, this prestigious ceremony will honor outstanding song composers, producers, and artists across 13 different categories. Notably, the awards have evolved into a separate ceremony over the last five editions, indicating their growing prominence in the industry.

The event, announced at a press meet held at the Radisson Hotel, Lazimpat, will feature top nominees in various categories, including Best New Singer, Best Lyricist, Best Music Director, and distinctions for male and female singers across different genres. Additionally, a special 'Lifetime Achievement Award' will be presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to Nepali music, accompanied by a cash prize of Rs1,00,000.
