Annual Kathmandu Conference on Nepal and the Himalaya is a prestigious event hosted by Social Science Baha since 2012. This year’s conference, in collaboration with the Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies, Britain–Nepal Academic Council, Centre for Himalayan Studies–CNRS (since 2015), and Nepal Academic Network (Japan) (since 2016), will be held fully in-person from 24-26 July 2024. Join scholars in Kathmandu as they explore various aspects of social life in Nepal and the Himalaya from the perspective of social science, arts, and humanities.
