Annapurna Marathon 2024 is a premier trail race set in the stunning Annapurna region of the Himalayas in Nepal. As one of the most challenging marathons in the world, it offers a breathtaking and rigorous course that starts at the renowned Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters (13,550 feet) and descends to Ghandruk at 2,012 meters (6,560 feet). This 42.195-kilometer (26.2 miles) race includes both downhill and uphill sections, demanding both physical endurance and mental fortitude.

The Annapurna Marathon is held annually on June 3rd to honor the historic first summit of an 8,000-meter peak by Maurice Herzog and his team on Annapurna I in 1950.
